Shortsea=Service

The Shortsea=Service project is organised by Norges Rederiforbund and is managed by SPC Norway. Participants are shipping lines wishing to improve their customer service by use of eFreight. 

Main objective

Project participants will be able to deliver top customer service and obtain major efficiency gains through increase volumes of electronic transactions with customers and partners. 

Main participants

The main participants are shipping lines serving Norwegian ports with regular liner services. Also customers and transport partners of the lines can participate in the project. We will cooperate closely withSeamless for port integration. 

Project period

The project period is 2,5 years (2009-2011). 

Funding

The project is funded 36% by Innovasjon Norge with nok 1.5 million.
